It was a beautiful weekend here in the 'Dorf. I know it seems lately I only get to blog on the weekends, but we've just been so busy. Hopefully in the next few weeks I'll have more of a chance to update with everything that we've been up to...
Saturday night we attended a bonfire. It was a beautiful night to sit outside with friends and family.
Ryan, Rachael, Tori (and Jack of course!)
Today Mr. Gebely and I headed to Strack's Tree Farm to tag our Christmas tree. We had our heart set on a TALL Concolor Fir.
It was 70 degrees and was the perfect weather to walk all around scoping out the trees. As we learned today, Concolor Firs are apparently quite popular. Yesterday was the first day of tagging and most of the really tall Concolors were already tagged.
So we walked...and walked...

and walked some more...
And then we found it...OUR TREE! (yeah, it's big!)

So now it's ours. Of course after we left the Tree Farm Mr. Gebely commented that the tree had probably been growing for 10 years and in less than a month we'll be killing it. Way to ruin the mood.
Since it was such a nice day we decided to take c&k to Poppa's house. The Katers had to inspect the pool.
