Yard Sale Score!

Tyce has a toy that I absolutely adore! When I was home on maternity leave and Lena and I spent our days with Mrs. Neighbor and the kids, I watched Tyce play with his Fisher Price Sing Along Stage and always thought it looked so fun. The songs are catchy and the voices aren't annoying (like they are for some children's toys). After Lena started sitting up unassisted I decided I wanted to buy something that she could play with while using her new skill.

We borrowed the toy from the neighbors for a few days to make sure Lena loved it (she did) and then I decided to buy it. Unfortunately, I learned pretty quickly that it is no longer made and while it could be purchased on ebay, it would cost $45. I wanted it for Lena, but I didn't want it that much!

My mom saw it at our house and knew I was on the hunt for one. She got very lucky yesterday morning while she was out yard saling and scored it for {drumroll please}.....a whopping 25 cents!!! We cleaned it up and let Lena play with it immediately. Now Lena and Tyce will be able to rock out together when they are a little older!
There are lights, music, and a couple different songs. The only thing this one is missing is the microphone that hooks into the side.


I know that in many of my pictures Lena looks so big now, but this one gives you a little perspective on how much of a peanut she still is!
